I am writing as the President of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG). I firmly believe that to promote economic and energy security, the United States needs to explore and develop its Outer Continental Shelf and Slope, one of the most prospective areas of the country. I want to express my strong support for increasing access to augment domestic energy resources.
