What is your definition of a “woman in geology”? Where does she work? How old is she? What is her specialty? Most importantly, are you one of these women?

If so, join AAPG’s Professional Women in the Earth Sciences (PROWESS), AWG and the SEG Women’s Network on Saturday, April 1, 2017, in Houston!

On AAPG’s 100-year anniversary, we're celebrating how far women geoscientists have come and making connections for a better future! Watch a special documentary presentation on the Pioneering Women of Petroleum Geology, participate in our costume contest, “What Does a Woman Geoscientist Look Like?” and network with our global community. We can't wait to see you there!

Learn more about this event through our video or at the AAPG ACE Web page (http://ace.aapg.org/2017/networking-and-events/100th-anniversary-events).

Helpful Hints

  • How do I vote for Executive Committee officers?

First, we need to establish if you have the privilege to vote. Only a person with the status of "Member" of the Association may cast a ballot. This means after becoming an Associate member of AAPG, you have submitted a formal application to the Executive Committee of the AAPG for acceptance as an AAPG Member. This requires an endorsement and your application is reviewed by the AAPG Executive Committee for meeting the training and experience requirements described in the AAPG Constitution and Bylaws (C&BL).

    You may vote? Great!

Go back to your email Inbox and look for an email from directvote.net. You should have received this email on 3 March 2014. If you do not find it, check your junk mail for the correspondence.

This email holds the direct link into the voting area managed by a third party for the Association as required by the AAPG’s C&BL.

If you cannot find this email, please contact Jenifer Gilbert at 918 560-2622 for assistance.
