AAPG/NAPE L-LSCLS Give-back exercise

The 2016 Young Professional Leadership Program was a success, with 18 student leaders across southwest Nigeria.

The 2016 Young Professional Leadership Program (SCLS 2014 Alumni Give-Back Exercise) was held to follow-up and ensure that current fresh student leaders of AAPG student chapters have successful tenures with their smart goals.

Our aims are to develop strong networking and relationship between current chapter leaders within a specific zone, to create a platform where current and past chapter leaders could share their experiences (strengths and weaknesses) as well as new ideas that could bring success to their chapters, and to monitor the progress of their smart goals.

The 2016 Young Professional Leadership Program was a success, with 18 student leaders across southwest Nigeria. The student leaders representing their various schools made presentations on the highlights and challenges of their student chapters.

Invited guest speaker, Dr. Anthony Ofoma, with Halliburton-Nigeria, lectured on Career Opportunity: A Case of Geosciences.

The meeting was anchored by AAPG Young Professionals, Nigeria.
