The fourth (China) university Union Field Geology Investigation and the fourth (China) AAPG student chapter work Exchange

 

To strengthen the connection between communities of geological exploration and energy universities, exchanges and cooperation, AAPG successfully hosted the Fourth University Union Field Geology Investigation and the Fourth (China) AAPG Student Chapter Work Exchange.

To strengthen the connection between communities of geological exploration and energy universities, exchanges and cooperation, we successfully hosted the Fourth University Union Field Geology Investigation and the Fourth (China) AAPG Student Chapter Work Exchange in Beijing From May 28th to 29th, 2016. These important activities were hosted by AAPG Young Professionals, and organized by AAPG student chapter of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) and China University of Geosciences (Beijing). 54 teacher and student representatives from 12 universities and organizations attended the activity, including Peking University, China University of Petroleum (Beijing), China University of Geosciences (Beijing), China University of Mining &Technology (Beijing), China Petroleum Exploration And Development Research Institute, China University of Petroleum (East China), Xi 'An Petroleum University, Southwest Petroleum University, Northeast Petroleum University, Chengdu University of Technology, The Yangtze University.

On May 28, the fourth (China) AAPG student chapter work exchange was held in China University of Geosciences (Beijing) international conference center. Representatives from the AAPG associations of 10 colleges attended the meeting, including China University of Petroleum (Beijing), China University of Geosciences (Beijing) and so on. Representatives from different universities reported their colorful and unique club activities, respectively. They discussed the problems existing in the work and the future of cooperation and development. In the afternoon of May 28, the representatives visited the geological museum of China University of Geosciences (Beijing).
