The meeting will include field trips examining the stratigraphy and structure of the northern Rockies, short courses ranging from “frac” design and core analysis to geostatistics, coupled to a strong technical program. We are pleased to have Dr. Jacob Lowenstern, the Scientist-in-Charge of the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory, as our keynote speaker for the All Convention lunch. At the end of the day you’ll be able to kick-back and enjoy some fun social events including a Sunday Icebreaker featuring Montana craft beers, an evening of great food and music at the historic Billings Depot, and a downtown “pub crawl” with transportation provided by the Billings Trolley Company. So pack your bags, grab your hiking boots and head up to Big Sky Country in June, where we’ll be sipping a few beers with old friends and new while “Brewing plays and tapping resources” ….
